REEDSVILLE, PA, June 2026 - Cignal has been selected to to teach Applied AI Auditing and Defense at Black Hat USA 2026.
As AI architectures evolve from simple classifiers to complex reasoning engines and multi-modal agents, the attack surface is expanding rapidly. This intensive, lab-focused course moves beyond theoretical risk to practical, hands-on exploitation and defense of modern AI systems. A "Black Box" refers to the inherent opacity of these deep learning models; in this course, we pry that box open.Participants will engage in a series of Google Colab-based labs utilizing the latest open-source testing frameworks. The curriculum has been updated to address the newest frontiers in AI: Security of Reasoning Models (exploiting chain-of-thought and decision logic) and Attacks on Multi-Modal Vision-Language Models (visual prompt injection and adversarial imagery).
